This is a comprehensive exam where we will review your entire medical history focusing on any gynecologic issues. We will discuss prevention, screening and treatments. Screening tests that we offer are typically dependent on your age. We can screen for sexually transmitted infections (Gonorrhea/Chlamydia/HPV/Trichomonas are done vaginally and HIV/Hepatitis B&C/syphilis/Herpes are done with a blood test). We can also do your health maintenance screening for diabetes, cholesterol (please come fasting if you want this done), vitamin D level and thyroid and many other blood tests in the office.

We have all available type of birth control, from birth control pills and rings, many types of IUDs, and even do surgery to tie tubes when you are done with your family 

A permanent and non-hormonal treatment for heavy periods, the endometrial ablation is perfect when your heavy periods are interfering with your life.  The procedure is done in office and only takes a few minutes.  Yeh, it hurts a little, but we give you lots of medications before we start.

We try to avoid hysterectomies when possible, but sometimes there is no other choice.  When it is necessary, there are many ways to have a hysterectomy and we do the least invasive approach that is safe.
